External Awards and Scholarships

(A)	Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fund Scholarship Scheme No. of winner : one S.5 student, one S.6 or S.7 student It is offered to students attaining a high standard of learning and developing leadership abilities.
(B)	Yan Chai Hospital Most Improved Junior Form Student Award No. of winner : one S.3 or S.4 student It is offered to students whose overall average marks have improved the most in the past two years.
(C)	Lion & Globe Educational Trust No. of winners : one from each S.1 to S.5 class It is offered to students who show obvious academic or disciplinary improvement in any term of the school year and are nominated by their class teachers.

(A)	Mr. Chan Wing Chung Scholarship - Awards for Outstanding Results in HKCEE : No. of winner : one It is offered to a student who has obtained the highest point from eight subjects among S.5 in aggregate and is promoted to S.6 in our school.
(B)	Merits in HKCEE Scholarship No. of winner : unlimited It is offered to students who has obtained at least 6 As in HKCEE, has reached level 4 in both Chinese Language and English Language and is promoted to S.6 in our school.
(C)	Mrs Violet Chan Young Scholarship Awards for Outstanding Results in HKALE No. of winner : one It is offered to a student who has obtained the highest point from five subjects among S.7 in aggregate.

It is offered to students who show obvious academic or disciplinary improvement throughout the school year.

SKH Chan Young Secondary School Parent-Teacher Association Activities Scholarship
No. of winner : Two (They should be nominated by the teacher-in-charge of the related activity. If there is only one successful applicant, the fund will not be accrued to the scholarship next year but will be returned to PTA.)
It is offered to any PTA members who have represented the school to join an activity outside Hong Kong and have shared their experience with other students.
